PC technology

iam is an integrated smart vision system featuring a quad-core ARM® Cortex-A53 platform running up to 1.5 GHz. Combined with dual-core Cortex-R5 real-time processors, a Mali-400 MP2 graphics processing unit, and a 16nm FinFET+ programmable logic.

The system offers a LAN interface and an optocoupler interface. See Input and Output Interface for details.

Noteworthiness and specific known issues

Besides the global list of Known Issues there are the following model specific anomalies known.

ROI

Issue occurs in trigger mode.

Sensor accepts trigger input only when the complete ROI (4072 x 3046) has been read out.

If a small ROI in the upper left corner is defined, a waiting time ( T (readout complete roi) ) is needed, before the next trigger can be sent.
