Virtual Frame Functionality
(available in Software Version 4.10 and newer)
The iam can collect lines of multiple frames delivered by the sensor and deliver them is a single frame containing all the data. The frame is delivered to the user after a sufficient number of frames was delivered by the sensor to fill the virtual frame.
Setup
To enable virtual frames set the DeviceScanType feature to Linescan. This enables virtual frames and configures the sensor to use the minimum possible image height.
In this mode 2 lines from each image delivered by the sensor are written to the image delivered to the user (see the SvVirtualFrameLineHeight feature). The Height feature can be used to determine the total number of lines in the virtual frame.
AcquisitionFrameRate and AcquisitionFrameRateEnable are replaced by AcquisitionLineRate and AcquisitionLineRateEnable. AcquisitionLineRate corresponds to the rate of images delivered by the sensor; this differs from the rate of virtual frames delivered to the user.
You may want to adjust the SvAxisWatchdogTimeout feature to change the time the transport layer waits for the completion of a virtual frame.
